Hi I’m Ann Marie, from the Royal Mail Business
Support Centre, and I’m going to show you how to present your Franked International
Tracked items. First, ensure you have franked each item with
the correct date of posting, format, service and weight. And then apply a blue airmail
sticker you can handwrite this if you don’t have any.
Next complete the address fields and service tick boxes in your despatch book
Apply a barcode label to the front of your item
You will need to peel the two small reference stickers and apply them to your despatch book.
Peel off the long barcode sticker and apply here.
Then add the total number of items and bags and then sign and date
For items being mailed outside the EU which have a commercial value or contain goods or
gifts you will need to add a customs label. You are now ready to hand over your international
Tracked Items to your collection driver or drop them off at your local Post Office.
Keep these items loose and hand them over separately from any other franked mail you
are posting. Have your dispatch book available, ready to be signed.
